BATON ROUGE, La. (WVUE) – St. Tammany Parish registered voters now have a chance to recall their coroner.
Organizers filed a petition Tuesday (April 16) with the Louisiana Secretary of State’s office to recall St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Christopher Tape. The filing starts the clock on a 180-day signature-gathering campaign.
The office accepted the recall petition just before noon, opening the way for signatures to be collected.
