Over 200 volunteers need to secure more than 38,000 names
Questions have been raised about why the organization now beginning a recall effort against St. Tammany Coroner Dr. Christopher Tape has still not filed its petition with the Louisiana Secretary of State.
But the only holdup for the group – Family First St. Tammany – is making sure they are 100 percent ready to start getting signatures in the proper manner, since a clock begins ticking the minute the group files for the petition, leaving them exactly six months to gather the needed signatures to get the matter on the ballot.
